The problem

The Wix template gave Connecticut homeowners little direction toward a solar consultation.

  • A generic “Home | Sol Choice” title and no meta description.
  • A vague “Learn More” as the only button, a non-tappable phone number, and no homepage form.
  • About 213 homepage words with no Connecticut targeting.
  • Leftover template pages in the sitemap and WebSite schema only.
  • About 150 network requests.

The fix

The redesign puts the consultation offer, local context, and ways to reach Jeff in view.

  • A clear promise with “Start My Solar Review” and “Call Jeff” above the fold.
  • Tappable telephone links and an on-page consultation form.
  • Connecticut-focused content and guides.
  • LocalBusiness, Review, and FAQPage schema.
  • About 18 network requests.

The Lighthouse comparison

On mobile, load time (LCP) dropped from 10.9 s to 4.7 s. SEO went from 85 to 100 on mobile and desktop.

The redesigned page is heavier because of its hero video, and mobile blocking time increased.
